eLearning: Market-near skills profiles and guidelines
The eVirtue project (co-funded by the LLP programme) identified and developed 6 role profiles that defined skills and competences needed for digital learning.
eCult Profiles and Training Guidelines in 6 languages on-line
The eCult Skills project (co-funded by the LLP programme of the EC) ended on 30 September 2015, and the results are now published on-line and freely accessible. If you are interested in what skills you need to be ready for the digital challenge in cultural heritage, check out our eCult Profiles. If you are a training institution, you might want to read our training guidelines to know how to implement profiles into your curricula to conform with market needs. All profiles and guidelines are available in English, French, German, Greek, Slovenian and Portuguese. If you want to be regularly updated, join the eCult community on our eCult Skills Observatory.

The World of Learnig - Birmingham

The Future of e-Learning Jobs - Workshop, Wroclaw 17 September 2015
During 2 years, a team of 7 partners from 5 EU countries (Poland, Germany, UK, Greece, France) worked on identifying skills and competences necessary to take advantage of digital technolgoies for learning. The results are 5 consolidated profiles of job descriptions that will help to adjust curricula to market needs, and training guidelines. These were presented at this international workshop, followed by discussions with the audience and experts.

eCult Skills presented at EMYA 2015
The eCult Skills project was
presented at the 4th Dialogue Day: Museums:
Responding to the Digital World in Glagow on the occasion of the EMYA award days on 13 May 2015.
Emphasis
was given at the 5 cultural heritage jobs: Cultural ICT Consultant, Cultural ICT Guide, Digital Cultural Asset Manager, Interactive Cultural Experience
Developer, and Online Cultural Community Manager that were identified in the LLP
project eCultSkills. The
expected impact will allow for comparable skills sets for these professions of
the future, so as to support the European labor market and thus, the
employability of professionals while at the same time contributing to one of
the major challenges of Europe 2020.

eCultSkills at Glasgow Dialogue Day!
The 4th eCult Dialogue Day that will be held on 13 May 2015 in Glasgow, on the occasion of the EMYA - European Museum of the Year event, is under the motto: "Museums responsing to the digital world". For this reason, eCultSkills representatives were invited to present the findings of the new job profiles in the cultural sector: Museum staff of the 21th century need more skills than before - the developed profiles will help cultural institutions to identify skills and competences and will give guidelines how to integrate them into their overall strategy. eCult Dialogue Days started 2 years ago with the purpose of bringing together two types of stakeholders usually not in "natural" interaction: technology developers and cultural heritage institutions. The success of the past events convinced the continuation of this series!
