In 2012, average wages for specialists in Poland are planned to increase by 4%! The increase will be slightly higher than in 2011, when the average growth was 3,72%.Many job opportunities and high salaries - 2011 was a good time for ICT professionals !
According to Pracuj.pl report "Labour Market for Professionals in 2011" the year 2011 was a good time for ICT professionals.Summary: The year 2011 was a good time to look for work in telecommunications and new technologies - according to the report "Labour Market for Professionals in 2011", prepared by experts of Pracuj.pl portal. Despite the many changes which have occurred last year in this market, the number of job offers coming from the industry for professionals and managers has increased by nearly 60% compared to 2010. In addition to a large number of job offers, the ICT professionals could also count on high salaries.
Key findings:
- Nearly 325 000 jobs posted on the portal Pracuj.pl in 2011.
- An increase in the total number of posted jobs by more than 1/3 compared to 2010;
- The biggest increase in demand for workers in the IT, telecommunications and heavy industry;
- Surprisingly greater increase in the number of jobs opportunities in the provinces, which are struggling with high unemployment than in the richer regions with lower unemployment rates.

French National agreement between Governement and professional organisation
Xavier Bertrand, French minister for employment, workforce and health has signed with Syntec Numeric (the national professional organisation of Numeric companies) a large framework agreement to forster employment in the e-field. this agreement is also relevant for continuous training and will help for a better evaluation of job market and to anticipate job market needs

e-Jobs Observatory partner international stakeholder of e-Skills week 2012
e-Jobs Observatory partner EMF, is now part of the international stakeholder network of e-Skills week 2012, together with other industry partners, education bodies and public authorities. The European e-Skills Week 2012 is a European campaign focused on showing people how to get jobs through e-skills in the digital age. Building on the success of e-Skills Week 2010, the DG for Enterprise and Industry has again teamed up with DIGITAL EUROPE and European Schoolnet, to drive awareness of the need for e-skills and their benefits. The campaign will deliver an exciting programme of events and activities in more than 30 countries; culminating in a dedicated e-Skills Week between 26 and 30 March 2012.

CERT-IT a new partner of the e-Jobs Observatory network
CERT-IT, the German accredited certifier in the area of IT and Education has recently joined the e-Jobs Observatory network by supporting the e-Jobs Observatory platform. CERT-IT appear now in the "about" section of the site together with other supporters and will participate in the restricted collaborative working groups of e-Jobs supporters.
