Euro zone unemployment rate reaches all-time peak

Unemployment in the eurozone rose to 10.8 per cent in February and reached its all-time peak since the introduction of the currency back in 1999. This figure equals a number of number of 17.1 million people. In Spain, the unemployment rate is the highest (23.6 %), whereas in Austria, the unemployment rate is the lowest in Europe (4.2 %).

Specialists say, the near future does not look too rosy - another proof for the necessity of initiatives such as ProInterNet!
