German ICT Market grows by 1.6 %

According to the hightech-association BITKOM, the German ICT market will continue its growth in 2012. According to experts, overall turnover will exceed € 150 bn. for the first time in history.
Other interesting facts:

-Turnover for IT hardware, software, and IT services will increase by 3.1 %, which represents a total of € 72.4 bn.
-Market for cloud services will reach a turnover of € 5.3 bn. (+ 47%)
-850,000 employees in the ICT industry
-5,000-6,000 new jobs to be created in 2012
