"Smart jobs – Green ICTs and Employment" is the title of a presentation provided by Roland Schneider, TUAC (TUAC Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD). The 21st century is presenting a series of grand challenges that are in reality great opportunities. Green economy and moreover Green ICT jobs have and can only be carried out by trained people and skilled employees, currently not that easily findable.
The presentation is talking about what is smart investment and smart employment, the Digital Road to Recovery – welcome, but not sufficient, employment effects and issues, a green recovery program and a new green deal and between low road and high road approaches: employers demand for and use of skills.
