The European e-Competence Framework version 2.0 was published in November 2010 by the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN). It provides uniquely, a pan-European neutral reference for ICT professional competences across all industry sectors. The e-CF is part of the European Commission’s e-Skills Strategy for the 21st century. The next e-CF version 3.0 is planned for publication in Autumn 2013.
The European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) invites you to contribute to the update of the e-CF by participating in an on-line consultation. Participation has been invited to ICT professionals and stakeholders coming from:
- ICT supply and demand (e.g. finance, trade, logistics...) industries
- ICT qualification and certification providers, both public (e.g. Higher Education) and private
- Sector associations and trade unions
- Public sector and policy makers
- Consultancy and research
