According to recent forecasts, the IT industry in Germany faces a promising future. 70 % of IT experts consider the international competitiveness of the IT industry in Germany to be "good" or "very good". Especially IT Security, Cloud Computing, Embedded Systems, and Smart Grids are supposed to face extraordinary growth potential.
However, the shortage of skilled workers ist still a predominant problem in Germany. Especially the segment IT Security, Software Development, and IT Project Management are affected. In order to overcome this shortage, a 46.6 % of SMEs invest in training of their employees - a promising fact!
