Launch of the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs on 4-5 March in Brussels

On 4-5 March 2013 the European Commission will launch the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs, an EU wide multi-stakeholder partnership helping to address mismatches and fill vacancies of ICT practitioners to boost unemployment. 

The launch event  "Filling the gaps: e-Skills and Education for Digital Jobs" will take place at the Mariott Hotel, Rue Auguste Orts 3-7, 100 Brussels in Belgium. 

European Commission services, including four Commissioners (DG EAC, DG ENTR, DG CONNECT, DG EMPL), Public Employment Services Network, ICT companies and associations, Industry and CIO associations, SMEs associations, education (school and university) associations, education authorities, e-skills organizations, e-skills councils/alliances, national digital champions, ESF and other public funding instrument representatives, qualification and certification bodies and web entrepreneurs will participate.
