Launch of pilot trainings for an AAL Consultant in Germany!! Join the training seminars!!

The first curriculum for an AAL Consultant is almost ready for use! Before presenting it to the public, training seminars are scheduled in Germany, Austria, Greece and France to pilot it. Be one of the participants!

This initiative stems out of engAGEnt, a project co-funded by the European Commission, which aims at developing a harmonised European curriculum for vocational training that will qualify people for the job role of an AAL Consultant. Upon completion of the course, an AAL Consultant will be able to analyze the living situation of an elderly or disabled subject and develop strategies that will improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled population, in general.

The pilot trainings will be inaugurated in Karlsruhe, Germany. In April and May 2014 the Institute for Assistance systems and qualification e.V. IAQ will carry out pilot seminars to selected topics in the field of consultancy on technical assistance systems. In addition to methods for the analysis of individual needs and circumstances practical insights into the possibilities of technical assistance systems will be given. Participants will receive basic knowledge about assistance systems related to health care, secure housing and social participation. Goal is the education and training of current and former employees of the care giving field, social workers and local administration employers, which have an interest in consulting activities for technical assistance systems.
