The Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment (ISPONRE) recently sponsored a Green Growth and Green ICT (information and communications technology) for Sustainable Development in Vietnam seminar.
Specialists from the Republic of Korea (RoK) said at the seminar that the rapid increase in the number of ICT users had increased the amount of electronic waste, as well as global warming, so constructing a strategy on using green ICT to minimize carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions remained vital.
