Representatives from the European Commission, the ICT industry, National Ministries of Education, Universities, VET institutions participated in interactive workshops tackling the following topics:
- Where are Digital Competences situated in today's educational and training curriculum?
- What are we doing towards European reference model for Digital Competences for learners?
- How to organise dialogues industry-education?
- Innovative ways of collaboration between formal education and training programms (apprentiships, dual learning, stages, etc.)
This is the First Round Table organised following the launch of the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs, a multi-stakeholder partnership to tackle the lack of ICT skills and the several hundred of thousands of unfilled ICT-related vacancies.
