UEAPME Position Paper on EQAVET, EQF, ECVET is out!

On 21 May 2013 the European Association of Craft, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (UEAPME) published a Position Paper on the current implementation of the European tools:
  • European Quality Assurance Reference Framework for Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET)
  • European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and
  • European Credit system for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET)
UEAPME supports all three tools aimed notably at enhancing transparency of qualifications, attractiveness of VET, flexibility of learning pathways, as well as promoting employability and learning mobility. However, the need for more synergies between all three tools is stressed in the Position Paper.

The e-Jobs Observatory shares the perspectives addressed in the UEAPME Position Paper. Increased synergies between these European tools combined with adequate communication to a wider audience will result in increasing the confidence of SMEs in the education and training learning outcomes.
